Festa Means Fun for the Whole Family! In Italy it's la Famiglia and at this year's Festa, presented by U.S. Cellular it's all about family, Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 19 at Milwaukee's lakefront Festival Park, Food! Fun! Fireworks! is this year's festival slogan...and that's because it's the food, the entertainment and the amazing nightly display of Italiana-style fireworks that keeps Festa-goers coming back year after year.
- Visit Pinocchio Plaza at the North entrance of Festival Park, where a team of world champion sand sculptors will creat a 20-foot sculpture of the Pinocchio story out of 150 tons of sand!
- A daily Pinocchio Parade at 5:30 p.m. each evning will be led by a 10-foot animated Pinocchio puppet with Italian music, folk dancers, flag throwers direct from Italy, an authentic Sicilian Carretto (cart) pulled by a donkey and la batteria - Italian ground fireworks!
- Don't miss the new, delicious Festa Funolli, a scrumptious combination of creamy sweetness in a delicious toasted crust.
- Bring the entire family and enjoy free midway rides all day and night throughout the festival.

Italian Community Center Earthquake Relief Fund The recent earthquakes in Italy have killed more than 300 people. And government estimates indicate that as many as 50,000 people of all ages may be left homeless -- more than at any time in Italy since World War II.
The coordinators of Festa Italiana, through the Italian Community Center, are working with the Italian consulate to see that your donations are sent directly to those specific charities working with the homeless in the devastated areas of the Abruzzi region. All donations will be held in a special account at National City Bank.
